Welcome to Monton & Weaste Cricket Club website.

MOVED INTO THE AREA OR LOOKING FOR A NEW CHALLENGE WE ARE THE CLUB FOR YOU.

We are a Clubmark club which indicates our commitment to the development of cricket and to providing a safe environment for children.We are also an Lancashire Cricket Board Focus Club

We have also a nominated Chance to Shine club which encorages our links to local schools to encourage both boys and girls to play cricket.

We are a progressive club who joined the Central Lancashire League in 2005 after a successful period in the Manchester Association.

Last season we won our first trophies since joining the Central Lancashire League. After being beaten in the final of the Wood Cup in our first season we were able to gain some revenge by beating Heywood in this years Wood Cup. The second team won the Burton Cup. The first team also reached the final of the 20/20 and finished 5th in the league.
The club runs a first and second team in the Central lancashire League.

Senior practice is at the ground on a Tuesday 6pm onwards.

We also have a vibrant junior section running U16, U14, U12 and U11 teams.

Junior Practice in the season is Saturday Mornings at the club provided by qualified coaches.
9.00 - 10.00 for for under 12
10.15 - 11.15 for Under 14
Under 16s train Monday nights 6pm to 8pm

We have presently Two juniors who are in Lancashire squads and Two others who are attending final trials.

We also have 4 players selected to represent Salford District teams.

The club is committed to the development of cricket in the area being active members of the Salford development group.
We welcome players of all ages and abilities. If you are interested in joining the club, you are welcome to call at the club at practice sessions or call Don Chapman on 07774000348.
