Welcome to Monton & Weaste Cricket Club website.

MOVED INTO THE AREA OR LOOKING FOR A NEW CHALLENGE WE ARE THE CLUB FOR YOU.

We are a Clubmark club which indicates our commitment to the development of cricket and to providing a safe environment for children.We are also an Lancashire Cricket Board Focus Club

WE ARE LOOKING TO DEVELOP GIRLS UNDER 11S AND U13S TO PLAY IN A LANCASHIRE WIDE LEAGUE COMPETITION (See News)

We are a progressive club who joined the Central Lancashire League in 2005 after a successful period in the Manchester Association. In our first two seasons the first team came 5th in the league and also reached the final of the John Willie Lees Wood Cup in 2005.

The club runs a first and second team in the Central lancashire League.

Senior practice is at the ground on a Tuesday 6pm onwards.

We also have a vibrant junior section running U16, U14, U12 and U11 teams. This year we hope to run an U9 and girls U11 and 13s

Junior Practice in the season is Saturday Mornings at the club provided by qualified coaches.
9.00 - 10.00 for 7 to 10 year olds
10.00 - 11.00 for 10 to 12 year olds
11.00 - 12.00 for over 12 year olds

Girls training for all girls under13 commences Sunday Morning
13th May 2007 from 10am to 11am

We have presently Two juniors who are in Lancashire squads and Two others who are attending final trials.

We also have 7 players selected to represent Salford District teams.

The club is committed to the development of cricket in the area being active members of the Salford development group.
We welcome players of all ages and abilities. If you are interested in joining the club, you are welcome to call at the club at practice sessions or call Don Chapman on 07774000348.
